Concorso "La Legalità nel Quotidiano": 4 convittori premiati a Roma

Nel mese di marzo era stato indetto un concorso riservato agli studenti di tutte le classi delle scuole superiori di secondo grado delle regioni Calabria e Puglia, iscritte al progetto "Il Quotidiano in Classe". Obiettivi del progetto sono la promozione e la divulgazione dell'educazione alla cultura della legalità e del rispetto delle regole della comunità tra i giovani di due regioni italiane in prima linea nella lotta alla criminalità. Con la quarta edizione del Concorso, i ragazzi hanno avuto l'opportunità di lavorare in gruppo, per realizzare un elaborato scritto sul tema "Se fossi Sindaco: cosa farei per il mio comune e per i cittadini che lo abitano, ispirandomi al valore delle regole".
Un tema che si è rivolto direttamente ai giovani, chiamandoli in causa, invitandoli ad attivarsi e a capire la propria quotidianità e il proprio contesto. L'obiettivo è stato, infatti, quello di invitare i ragazzi ad intraprendere un percorso di autoanalisi che li stimolasse a suggerire e proporre soluzioni, idee, azioni, per diventare i protagonisti attivi dell'auspicato processo di cambiamento della realtà in cui vivono.

Il nostro Istituto, sezione Agraria e Geometri, raccogliendo l’invito dell’Osservatorio Permanente Giovani-Editori per la partecipazione al suddetto concorso, si era attivato per la realizzazione di diversi componimenti. Referente del progetto per il nostro Istituto, la prof.ssa Ottavia Iarocci. Tra i temi, che la docente ha esaminato e selezionato, figurava anche quello realizzato dai convittori della IA, sezione dell’Agraria. I convittori sono stati seguiti nel loro lavoro, in qualità di tutor, dal prof. Calabrese, istitutore presso il Convitto annesso all’Istituto.

Tempo fa era giunta notizia che il componimento realizzato dai ragazzi della IA era entrato tra i finalisti e che quindi una rappresentanza doveva recarsi a Roma per la Cerimonia di Premiazione.
Sono stati scelti per andare a Roma oltre a Di Nunzio Michele, il principale autore del tema, i convittori Contillo Luca, Panzano Ascanio e Russo Antonio. A guidare la delegazione la prof.ssa Iarocci e l’ist. Calabrese.

La Cerimonia tenutasi a Roma, nella sede del quotidiano "Il Tempo" di Piazza Colonna, è stata condotta e moderata da Paola Saluzzi. E’ dalla sua stessa voce che apprendiamo la notizia “… seconda classificata ex aequo tra le scuole pugliesi la Classe IA dell'Istituto Tecnico Agrario Michele di Sangro di San Severo (FG), coordinata dal Prof. Giuseppe Calabrese e dalla Prof.ssa Ottavia Iarocci…”
A consegnare il premio il procuratore Pierluigi Vigna in qualità di Presidente del Comitato Scientifico del Concorso”. Tra le cose da lui dette piace riportare il seguente pensiero “ Gli elaborati vincenti di questa edizione del concorso, mi auguro siano inviati all'Anci (associazione nazionale dei comuni italiani) affinchè possano essere di ispirazione a qualche sindaco perché ciò che hanno scritto i giovani rappresenta ciò che sognano che venga realizzato nella propria comunità". Mentre Sandro Degni, Vice Presidente della Fondazione Banca Nazionale delle Comunicazioni, così conclude il suo intervento “…Sono sempre contento ogni anno di partecipare a questa cerimonia di premiazione, perché ci sono i giovani e i giovani rappresentano il futuro del nostro Paese. E' un nostro dovere educarli al meglio perché solo attraverso questo potremo avere un mondo migliore."

3^ Edizione "Giochi sotto l'albero"

Il Dirigente Scolastico Gramazio dà l’avvio alla 3^ Edizione dei giochi sotto l’albero aprendo l’accesso alla Sala delle Attività e consegnando i “gagliardetti” a ciascun caposquadra:
Contillo per i Taglialegna
Di Fiore per i Panettieri
Scarano per gli Zampognari






Alla fine del torneo la squadra vincitrice è risultata quella dei Taglialegna.

"Pranzo degli auguri" con il Dirigente Scolastico

Giorno 17 dicembre, un giorno speciale per noi convittori. E’ il giorno del “pranzo degli auguri” e dei Giochi sotto l’albero.
La mattina, come consuetudine, la sveglia con sorpresa:
quest’anno Babbo Natale (Aldo D’Errico) ci ha svegliato a suon di campanello distribuendoci dolci e barrette kinder. Subito dopo lo stesso ha provveduto alla nostra colazione.





Alle 14.00 il pranzo speciale con la partecipazione del Dirigente Scolastico ing. Michele Gramazio e di tutti gli Istitutori: un’occasione per salutarci prima di partire per le festività e per augurare a tutti un Buon Natale ed un Felice Anno Nuovo.





A fine pranzo la consegna, da parte dei componenti la redazione del giornale, del numero di Natale de “Il Mosaico”.
