Giornata Studio “La Viticoltura in Capitanata”




L’evento è stato promosso ed organizzato dal dott. agronomo Giovanni Basso del Direttivo ADAF di Foggia e dalla dott.ssa Antonia Carlucci del Dipartimento SAFE dell’Università di Foggia.
Dopo l’intervento del prof. Giuseppe De Cato che, in qualità di Dirigente Scolastico del Polo Tecnologico, ha fatto sì che tale iniziativa si svolgesse presso l’Auditorium dell’Istituto, sono iniziati i lavori dell’assemblea moderati dal prof. Ettore Basso, Presidente dell’Associazione Dottori in Agraria e Forestali della provincia di Foggia.
Il tema essenziale della giornata studio quello della viticoltura in Capitanata. I vari interventi si sono focalizzati sulle più importanti problematiche agronomiche di natura gestionale e sulle più recenti conoscenze in termini di difesa delle piante di vite. In particolare, la Dott.ssa Antonia Carlucci, Ricercatrice di Patologia Vegetale, ha esposto i primi risultati di una ricerca dal titolo “Studio e definizione delle sindromi del complesso del Mal dell’Esca della vite in Capitanata”, ricerca che è stata realizzata grazie al finanziamento ottenuto dalla Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Puglia. L’avv. Alessandro Basso ha curato un approfondimento sulle leggi e le norme per la salvaguardia dell’ambiente. Le conclusioni sono state affidate al prof. Emanuele Tarantino ordinario di Agronomia presso l’Università di Foggia.

Alla giornata studio hanno assistito anche gli alunni dell’Istituto, tra cui alcuni convittori che, in quanto frequentanti l’indirizzo agrario, hanno particolarmente apprezzato i contenuti esposti.

A fine lavori il Presidente Ettore Basso e gli 11 relatori hanno pranzato presso la sala ristorante del Convitto.
